Job Purpose / Executive Summery

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing print, electronic and social media for preparing press briefs and appropriate responses;
  • Recording and developing photographic images of the Authority’s activities;
  • Producing documentaries of the Authority’s activities;
  • Developing and updating web content and postings on social media;
  • Preparing and producing speeches, reports and other publications;
  • Undertaking media assignments such as reserve advertising space with appropriate media outlets and organizing for press conferences;
  • Preparing and maintaining up-to-date media contact database; and
  • Maintaining a library of publications and documentaries pertaining to the Authority.

1 Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: - Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Mandatory
2 Proficiency in computer applications including knowledge in desktop publishing. Mandatory
3 Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution. Mandatory
