Job Purpose / Executive Summery

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of policies, strategies, procedures and systems for identifying alternative sources of revenue in the Authority;
  • Reviewing potential business proposals and making recommendations for investment;
  • Facilitating negotiations for contracts for alternative revenue sources;
  • Coordinating the development and implementation of local and international resource mobilization strategies;
  • Facilitating the identification of funding based and fundraising partners;
  • Coordinating and leading income generation activities;
  • Coordinating the identification of the right business strategy mix for resource mobilization;
  • Coordinating the development of business and resource mobilization plans, strategies and programmes; and
  • Conducting business market survey for the Authority.

1 A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in the Public sector or in the Private Sector. Mandatory
2 Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Mandatory
3 Membership in good standing of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya ICPAK) or any other recognized professional body. Mandatory
4 Proficiency in computer applications. Mandatory
5 Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and Mandatory
6 Shown Merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results. Mandatory
