Job Purpose / Executive Summery

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collating data related to implementation of the Authority’s Strategic Plan;
  • conducting economic studies as part of the road design and tender documentation process;
  • Undertaking economic reviews of the road projects;
  • Preparing terms of reference for economic surveys and facilitating implementation of related recommendations;
  • liaising with Consultants and other Stakeholders on economic matters;
  • Undertaking preparation of annual plans for the Authority and realigning it to the budget;
  • Undertaking economic analysis of investments, programmes and projects;
  • monitoring the implementation of the Authority’s plans and performance contract; and
  • Undertaking the preparation of annual work programmes and budgets for road planning and development

1 A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in relevant work in the Public Service or in the Private Sector. Mandatory
2 Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Economics, Statistics, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Mandatory
3 Be a member of a relevant professional body / institution; (iv) Proficiency in computer applications; Mandatory
4 Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and Mandatory
5 Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance. Mandatory
